Mesophyte
- Mesophytes are plants which require moderate amount of water.
- They are usually found on plains and in gardens.
- They possess an underground root system e.g. Rose.

- Epiphytes are plants which grow on other plants which grow on other plants without obtaining nourishment from them.
- They are usually found in tropical forests.
