As you are aware of the fact that, during the past six years of my tenancy, I have never belated the payment of rent to you. The cheque is always delivered at your office on the first of each month.

This month, however, I am going through a financial crisis due to my father’s kidney transplant at Hospital ………………………(name). Therefore, I will appreciate your gesture, if I am allowed to pay two months house rent in ……………………… (month), when my National Savings Certificate will mature and I shall get an amount sufficient to meet the dues of the hospital and pay the rent.
