Sample rejection letter to the supplier due to high price

Dear Sirs

We are obliged for your fax of__________________ quoting for _______________________ at Rs. ________________________ per case of ___________________, but regret that at this price we cannot place an order. We are working to a number of long-terms contracts under which it is impossible for us to revise our prices and had your own prices been within oar reach we could have placed regular large order.

We, therefore, hope you will reconsider you quotation and find it possible to offer a lower price, calculated on the basis of a monthly order for a minimum of forty cases.
