Hello my Sweetheart
It has been a long time since I had an opportunity of writing to you. I am running very busy here, no time or place to write. Anyhow, I am trying to use this spare time to write to you but I am not sure, when I will have a chance of sending this letter.
We are going on raids daily, the roads are full of snow and very risky. There is danger everywhere but life of an army personnel is always full of dangers, you know. We have captured a fully loaded lorry of ammunitions and that has cracked the bone of enemy. It is not allowed to write the details of our operations.

I am penning off now. Take care of your health and take care of the kids. Don’t worry about me. I have applied for leave. We shall celebrate Deepawali together.
