(At the invitation of a friend you spent a week with him at his house. On your return write a letter to your father; tell him of your friend’s hospitality and the amusements he provided for you.)
My Dear Dad,
My hearty homage may kindly be accepted. I was not at CITY NAME for sometime. I was invited by my best friend Rohan and so I went with him to his house in the town Kothar. There, I spent a week with him.
Rohan and the members of his family are quite hospitable. I was very much impressed by their hospitality. Rohan’s mother is very soft-hearted lady. She is kind and sympathetic in spirit. She took all possible care of me. She took all care of my morning-tear, breakfast, lunch, evening-tea, and supper. Every night she insisted on me to drink a glass of warm milk with sugar just before I began to sleep. Rohan’s father is a retired school Sub-Inspector. Many times he called me very close to him and got me seated by his side. He made very kind queries of me and all other of our home. He is a very loving gentleman, Sister Lilly is just on the verge of fourteen. She is fair, cute and lovable. She knows music and dancing. Every evening she played on her guitar and sang beautiful songs to me. In this way she game me much amusement. Rohan himself was busy for me. He personally looked my comforts, every now and them. Lilly is beautiful as her name. There is cadence in her walk and music in her voice. She presented me a handkerchief which she carefully knitted for me, all the week.
