Vestitive Titles

1. Vestitive titles create, transfer and extinguish the rights.
2. Vestitive titles are genus. It is a generic term. It includes both investitive and divestitive titles.
3. Vestitive titles are divided into two kinds;
   • Investitive titles; and
   • Divestitive titles.
4. Vesttitive titles include positive and negative characters.

Divestitive Titles

1. Divestitive titles transfer and extinguish the rights. They do not create the rights.
2. Investitive titles are species of vestitive tites.
3. Divestitive titles are further divided into two kinds;
   • Alienative titles; and
   • Extinctive titles.
4. Divestitive titles include only negative characters.
