Introduction:
Since six years back I was a student of the Modern Public School, Dallas. I have passed all these days not with equal feelings. Here I passed the days of pleasure and the days of pain, the days of hope and the days of despair. Some days I was happy and some days I was sad. But the happiest day in my school life was the 18th February 1993, the prize day of the year.
Why I call it the happiest day in my school life:
ADVERTISEMENTS:
On this day the prize giving ceremony was held in the presence of a large number of people. All the local gentlemen were invited and they came with their ladies. The Speaker of our State Assembly presided over this function. the Chief Minister was present as our Chief Guest. Before such a magnificent gathering, I got a prize for standing first in the class examination. I got prizes for good essay-writing, good handwriting, good conduct and good social service. I got a prize for good recitation in English. The prize-articles were so many and so heavy that I could not carry them myself. I was highly praised by the Speaker who was the President and by the Chief Minister who was the Chief Guest. In the years previous to it, I happened to get rewards in the prize giving ceremonies. But those ceremonies were not so grand and dignified as the ceremony of the year. I speak of. So, this day was the happiest day in my school life.
Conclusion:
Days are coming and passing by. But the day which, I speak of, will remain ever in my memory as the happiest day of my school-life.
