Meaning of drawbacks of transport? (Business Studies)
The movement of goods and persons from one place to another is called transport. The presence of good transport system brings a lot of advantages for the country.

Inspite of many advantages, it suffers from the following drawbacks:
- It adversely affects the growth of small scale and cottage industries because it facilitates in large scale production.
- The presence of well developed transport system has created many cities and towns. It also creates a state of concentration of people in those cities.
- Transport cannot be conducted efficiently and smoothly because of international restrictions.
- Increased transport facility causes more accidents and mass destruction.
