i. Change in population can be measured both in terms of absolute numbers and in percentage.
Change in terms of absolute number is determined by the subtracting population of earlier point of time from that of a later point of time while the calculation of growth of population in terms of percentage is done by dividing the absolute change of population by the population of an earlier date and multiplying it by hundred.
ii. In case of natural growth rate only births and deaths are Uken into account but in actual growth rate another factor migration, is also taken into consideration.
