The dictionary meaning of Module is “A self-contained component (unit or item) that is used in combination with other components”. And manager means “Someone who controls resources and expenditures”.
So in Joomla Module Manager can be best defined as the interface that allows Joomla users to manager various modules. It allows to enable/disable and configure different module as per our requirement. In Joomla 1.5 the Module Manager is available under the Extensions menu. The interface of the Module Manager displays the (a) Module Name (b) Enabled (c) Order (d) Access Level (e) Position (f) Place (g) Type (i) Id. The interface displays both Site modules and administrator modules.
