A Peculiar Feature:
The most peculiar feature that one finds in the monkey is the art of imitation. That is why its habit is counted half human. Once he sees something, it tires to copy it. It is therefore caught and trained. A trained monkey plays very useful and pleasing tricks. Jugglers often keep trained monkeys. They earn their living by showing their tricks. Some of its feats are very interesting.
Where Found:
They are chiefly found in tropical countries. Hence we find them in India, Africa and South America. In India they are found in great number in Haridwar, Benaras, Brindaba, and so on. Sometimes they are seen on hill-tops, example, in Simla and Puri.

It’s Similarity to Man:
The monkey bears a good deal of similarity to man. It is said that man was it first a money. But the monkey differs from man in many ways. The monkey has four hands and a tail. A man has no tail and ahs two feet and two hands. The money walks on all fours. Its front legs are longer than its hind legs.
Where it lives:
Monkeys like to live in jungles and temples. They jump from tree to tree and enjoy themselves. They do not build their nests on tree-tops. They live in the ruins of old buildings.

The monkey lives in jungle. It feeds on fruits and roots. Those who live in towns and cities, eat parched gram also. It likes to eat berries and nuts. It almost eats every thing which a man eats.
It’s Kind:
Monkeys vary in shape, size and color. There is a special kind of monkeys. Their faces are black. They are called apes. The ape has a very long tail. One can see it mostly on jungles.
Its habits:
The monkey is very intelligent and cunning animal. It is only form its intelligence and half human-form that Darwin said that the origin of man is from monkeys.
A Troublesome Animal:
The monkey is not a very useful animal. It is mischievous by nature. Instead of doing well, it feels happy in doing harm. Sometimes it is very troublesome. It carries away certain things. It gives them back with great difficulty.
Conclusion:
There is no need of repeating the stories of showing its habit of copying. They are so many. We simply conclude that it is beastly and half human.
