Ms. Shubhra Saxena, a B. Tech in Paper Technology, secured the 1st Position in the Civil Services Exam., 2009. According to her the secrete of her success is nothing but sheer hard work and supreme confidence in God and herself that she can do it.

When ask by the Competition Refresher reporter that there are other lucrative career opportunities as well but what motivated or prompted her to opt for a career in the Civil Services. Ms. Shubhra Saxena said “I was an IIT-Roorkee alumni and a software engineer. For four-and-a-half years, I was in quite a well-paid IT job but always felt an urge to serve the rural population. I would even deliver free lectures to students who came to me for guidance on rural development schemes.”
