Warm blooded animals
- Warm blooded animals are those which cannot change their body temperature to suit the environment.

They are also called endotherms or homoeothermic.
- They have the same body temperature in all seasons; hence, not much change in activity is seen in them. E.g. man, cow, camel, etc.
Cold blooded animals
- Cold blooded animals are those where the body temperature changes with fluctuations in the environmental temperature.
- They are also called ectoderms or poikilothermic.
- They are more active during summer. E.g. insects, lizard, frog, etc.
