Many bloggers and webmaster are making a lot of money by implementing Infolinks on their small and big websites/blogs. The unique business model of Infolinks, Inc links Text to Advertisement. Many Publishers are using WordPress as Content Management System of their web-contents. WordPress has its own plugin for integrating Infolinks ads code on it. But here the big question is “How to integrate Infolinks on those web-blogs which are powered by the Joomla“.
At present many excited webmasters are facing difficulties in implementing Infolinks on their Joomla website because no special extension has been yet developed by the Joomla community for easy integration. From last few months I am using Infolinks on my network of powerful websites and blogs and all of them are powered by Joomla. Read the below given steps for properly adding your Infolinks to any Joomla website.
Infolinks Integration Guide

Method 1

Login to your Infolinks account.

From the top menu system click on the Integration Guide option.

Copy the Script code from the webpage.

Now log into your Joomla website.

Go to Extension – Template Manager

Click on your current Template option.

Now look for the “Edit HTML” icon and click on it.

Paste the Infolinks Script right before the closing </BODY> HTML tag. If you currently use Google Analytics or other similar JavaScript based tools, the Infolinks JavaScript can be placed right before their code.

Click on the ‘Save’ or ‘Apply’ button.

It’s done. ! Congrats
Method 2

Follow the first 3 points of Method 1.

Go to your Joomla root directory.

Then Click on the Templates folder.

Edit the index file with any HTML editor . E.g. FrontPage

You may take a back-up of the Index file. (Advisable)

Paste the Infolinks Script right before the closing </BODY> HTML tag. If you currently use Google Analytics or other similar JavaScript based tools, the Infolinks JavaScript can be placed right before their code.

Save the file.

Log in to your FTP account and upload this file the server. (Template directory of your Joomla site)
